Abstrak The development of final assignment product through Project-based Learning (PjBL) approach was experimented in the workshop of family resource management (FRM) in 7th semester. PjBL approach was hoped to give students motivation and experience to fulfill their final assignment of FRM workshop. The objectives of the research were to: (1) develop PjBL model in fulfillment of student final assignment; (2) produce PjBL learning tools such as lesson plans, manual of FRM workshop, and scientific report of FRM workshop. The method used was research and development Plomp model to create the model and quasi experiment to test the effectiveness of the model. The research subjects were students from class of 2009 and 2010 who took FRM workshop lecture. The study produced lesson plans, manual of FRM workshop, and scientific report as the outputs. The result showed that project based learning model was effective to improve green skill that was to increase project management, collaboration ability, and communicative competence.
